Buddy Up

Buddy-Up

Attempting to do any job usually goes better if you have the help and support from a friend, this holds true in things we do for the Lord.  Passing out flyers for a Gospel Meeting goes quicker, and you may find you do not tire so quickly when you have a friend with you, this is also true when visitors come to worship.  We currently have some people who come to worship alone and others who come with friends.  We need to do all we can to make all our visitors feel welcome for they are the reason we are here in Kokomo, to bring them the Word of God.  We must make them feel we care about them, and we all have made new friends that very day.

Jesus knew it was better to go in pairs than alone. Mark 6:7,  And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. Luke 10:1,  After these things the Lord appointed [a]seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.

What I would like to get across in this article is, getting out to visit the sick, the elderly, and those who can’t get out anymore.  When Mike came to Kokomo, he asked me to go with him to meet those who are in these situations.  We have had others come up to us and say they want to go too.  What a wonderful thing this is to happen to us!  If anyone wants to visit these Brothers and Sisters in Christ, please let me know or tell Mike you want to go too.

May God bless us all,
